Development and Communications Leader, Bárbara Ramírez

STAFF MEMBER SINCE 2015

Bárbara is a translator who graduated from the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC, its acronym in Spanish). Since her arrival in Baja California a couple of years ago, she was impressed by the beautiful landscapes of the peninsula and decided to stay.

Her most notable encounter with science was when she participated as an interpreter in a lecture on great white sharks, after that a new interest arose: conservation. Coupled with her passion as a translator, this motivated her to be part of Terra Peninsular. She is currently the Development and Communication Leader, in charge of designing and implementing fundraising and communication strategies.
