Infographic English stage 1

In 2010 Terra Peninsular created its first nature reserve in Valle Tranquilo, followed in 2012 by the Punta Mazo Nature Reserve, and Monte Ceniza Nature Reserve in 2016.

Together, the protected land roughly numbers 13,152 acres!

These nature reserves are home to a great number of species of flora and fauna as well as magnificent landscapes waiting for people to visit them! To do this, we want to poner guapas (dress up) our reserves:

  • Equip them with the necessary infrastructure to welcome visitors.
  • Offer star-gazing and nature photography workshops.
  • Offer bird-watching tours.
  • Welcome schools and international researchers.
  • Host surf competitions.

Simply put, with the campaign PONTE GUAPO we want to share the magnificence of the reserves with the world! We’re dreaming big, and we want you to be part of this.

HOW TO GIVE?

If you’d like to join us in the makeover, please send your contribution! All the gifts we received between March and April were matched dollar-for-dollar thanks to a private contribution!

STAGES OF THE PROJECT

With your gift we seek to build the San Quintín Bay Waterkeeper headquarters and lab in the Monte Ceniza Nature Reserve, in San Quintín. This program aims to monitor and guarantee clean water in the bay.

Also, we want to build a visitor center and museum in the Punta Mazo Nature Reserve, located in San Quintín as well.
