As part of the Imaginaria Festival 2018, the photography exhibition “Discover the Forest” was inaugurated in the Caracol museum, on September 18, 2018 and will remain on exhibition until October 5, 2018.

The exhibition is integrated by 15 photos depicting a variety of plant species, animals and Sierra de San Pedro Mártir landscapes. The goal is to use photography as a way to show the unique natural resources of Baja California, so that the population can have the opportunity of appreciate them.

This exhibition was presented for the first time in April 2017 at the Sierra de San Pedro Mártir National Park within the activities of the Holy Week. The project counted with the collaboration of the photographers Felipe León, Eduardo Prieto, Cynthia Ortiz, Elena Suárez, Nathan Velasco y Francisco Buelna.

This photography project was developed by the Sierra de San Pedro Mártir National Park and the Secretariat of Environmental Protection (SPA), it was possible thanks to the sponsorship of Terra Peninsular, Idea Wild, the Art School of the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC) and Foto Natura Mexico.
