Researchers of CIBNOR, a biological research center in Mexico, and the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) visited San Quintín, Baja California, from April 20 to 24 to carry out a project in the Punta Mazo Nature Reserve.

This project is entitled as “Climate change effect on reptiles in northwestern Mexico: conservation and mitigation strategies” and aims to perform a study about the thermal ecology and habitat use of reptiles in the reserve.

Patricia Galina Tessro, PhD researcher at CIBNOR, will write an article about the development of this project that will be published in the newsletter Mediterranews.
