About the Urban Birds Program
The Urban Birds Program operates under a citizen science scheme, and invites the general public of different cities in Mexico to participate in one or more projects to collect data about the birds that live with us in the cities.
The objective of the program is to promote citizen participation on birdwatching in order to provide recreational options to people living in cities, as well as to generate information that will help answer questions about bird conservation and biodiversity, among other aspects of interest to society.
