Biology students from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM in Spanish) will collaborate with Terra Peninsular as part of their social service program.
The students Christian Alfonso Martínez, Carlos Uriel Lozano and Aldo Franco will participate in a project at the Punta Mazo Nature Reserve, in San Quintin from August 1 to 29, 2017.
Some of the activities will include making and inventory of fauna from the intertidal zone, providing information to create data sheets of species of commercial value, and making a photographic inventory of the species found at the intertidal zones, to mention a few.
At Terra Peninsular we are thrilled to collaborate with the UNAM, we look forward to working with the students and begin this important conservation project in the San Quintin area.
